How the Siaspeed PSA 120 Grit Roll Holds Up

The same stearate coating used across the Siaspeed 1950 line reduces loading as the disc works, which keeps scratch pattern consistent from the first disc on the roll to the last. At 120 grit the semi-friable aluminum oxide mineral is fine enough to close up 80 and 100 grit scratch patterns while still cutting fast enough to avoid burnishing the surface. Because the roll feeds directly into PSA-equipped continuous-feed sanders, there is no hook-and-loop pad to swap and no separate backing pad wear to track. Feed length and splice spacing on the roll are sized for standard continuous-feed sanders, so a shop can load a fresh roll and keep running without adjusting machine settings.
