Description
Sta’-Put SP100 Big Sticky is an air assist spray adhesive designed for temporary, light-duty bonding where speed matters as much as hold. It is a common choice for adhering insulation batting to interior wall cavities, where an installer needs a fast, even bond across large surface areas without the mess or cure time of a wet adhesive.
An air assist spray adhesive built for faster application
The SP100 uses compressed air to atomize the adhesive into a controlled spray pattern rather than relying on aerosol propellant alone. That gives applicators a good spray pattern with excellent coverage on both one-sided and two-sided bonds, plus a quick dry time that keeps the job moving. The formula is engineered to stay stickier longer even with a thinner coat, which means less adhesive per square foot without sacrificing grab.
Where this air assist spray adhesive earns its keep
Big Sticky delivers high green strength with exceptional grab tack, so material stays in place immediately after spraying instead of sagging or sliding before it sets. It bonds well across the range of substrates common in insulation, cabinetry, and general fabrication work, which is why it shows up on job sites doing construction, countertop fabrication, cabinetry and woodworking, sign and display, and transportation and specialty vehicle work.
The LVOC (low volatile organic compound) formulation matters for crews working indoors or in enclosed spaces where air quality regulations or jobsite ventilation limit which adhesives can be used. Applicators get the aggressive tack of a traditional contact spray adhesive with a lower VOC profile.
