Description
The Chem-Set dispenser holds a 2 ounce pump bottle of Stone Seam color-matching tint formulated toward the gray, neutral end of the Stone Seam color lineup. Fabricators use it to shift a mixed seam adhesive base toward gray granite, quartz, and similar neutral-toned stone so the cured seam reads closer to the surrounding slab instead of standing out as a lighter or darker line.
Dispensing the Chem-Set dispenser
The pump delivers a small, repeatable dose with each stroke, which keeps color adjustment controlled rather than guesswork. Add pigment to the mixed adhesive base in small increments, blend to a uniform color, and check the result against the actual slab surface under the lighting the finished seam will be seen in. Build color up gradually. It is far easier to add a bit more Stone 222 than to correct an overdosed batch.
Matching Neutral and Gray Stone With the Chem-Set dispenser
Stone 222 is one code in the wider Stone Seam pigment system used across granite, quartz, marble, and other natural and engineered stone. Shops that regularly fabricate gray or neutral-toned material benefit from keeping this code on hand alongside the warmer-toned codes used for browns and tans, since blending multiple pigments to approximate a single target color is slower and less consistent than dispensing the correct code directly. Keep the dispenser capped between uses and store it out of direct heat to protect pigment consistency over time.
