Description
TE720150PK Needle is a Techcon TE Series premier dispense tip for controlled placement of adhesives, solvents, primers, activators, and other compatible shop fluids. This SKU supplies 50 pink 20 gauge tips with a 1-1/2 inch stainless cannula and luer lock hub. It is a good choice when operators need extra reach into a pocket, fixture, channel, or recessed bond area. For related dispensing supplies, see Chemical Concepts dispensers, mixers, and nozzles. Techcon support is available from Techcon.
TE720150PK Needle Specifications
Techcon lists this item as a TE needle with 20 gauge size, 1-1/2 inch length, pink color, 100 psi maximum operating pressure, and 50 count quantity. The TE color guide identifies pink 20 gauge tips with a 0.024 inch, 0.610 mm inside diameter. That smaller bore supports cleaner beads than larger gauges while still allowing more flow than very fine 25, 27, or 30 gauge tips.
TE720150PK Needle Applications
Use this tip when a standard short needle cannot reach the target area. The 1-1/2 inch cannula can help place material inside housings, along internal corners, around narrow fixtures, or across assemblies where the dispenser body must stay away from the work. It also helps operators see the placement point when a cartridge, syringe barrel, or valve body would otherwise block the view.
Process Notes
Match the tip to fluid viscosity, pressure, and required bead size. A long 20 gauge cannula adds flow resistance, so thick adhesives may need a larger gauge or a shorter tip. Low-viscosity fluids may need lower pressure and shorter timing to avoid excess material. Replace the tip when cured material, bent tubing, or inconsistent flow affects the dispense pattern.
Ordering Guidance
The 50 count pack is practical for production benches, adhesive workcells, maintenance kits, and lab sampling stations. Keep a few adjacent gauges available so operators can adjust bead size without changing the whole dispensing setup.
