Waterproof Rivet Nut – Deform-Nut® 10445 (Flush Head, Hex Body)
Our waterproof rivet nut uses the Deform-Nut® 10445 design to create strong, reusable threads in thin materials while maintaining a watertight flange seal. The flush head sits nearly level with the surface and the hex body keys into a hex hole to prevent rotation during installation or service. This SKU is steel (zinc-plated) with a factory-applied Precote 15 white sealing band.

Why Precoate 15 (P15) Matters
- Flange sealing band: A plastic sealing ring near the head compresses during setting to form a water-tight barrier at the flange.
- Fit & holes: Uses the standard hole and sheet range; allow about +0.1 mm on drill size to accommodate the seal.
- Ingress performance: Tested to IP68 for water/dust ingress in internal trials. (IP is a tested/declaration for this product class; request a report if certification is required.)
- P15 vs. rubber-ring IP68: P15 focuses on flange sealing with good temperature/pressure tolerance and standard hole prep. Rubber-ring versions add a physical barrier that can provide electrical/thermal separation but often require a larger seat.
