creative materials logoChemical Concepts is proud to be a new distributor for an innovative line of products from Creative Materials, a well-established manufacturer of products for electronics and materials attachment, specializing in microelectronics, biotechnology, telecommunications and photovoltaic applications. Their product lines includes specialty, low cost conductive inks, adhesives and coatings for the manufacture of electronics, medical equipment, cell phones, automotive, aerospace, touch screens and solar cells. We’re impressed by their diverse product offerings, including electrically conductive adhesives, thermally conductive adhesives, silver inks, dielectric inks/coatings, potting compounds, silicone adhesives and silicone inks and coatings.

We’ll roll out details on many of their products in the weeks to come, but let’s shine our spotlight on just a few of their offerings as we start out.

Creative Materials GPC-251 A/B Room Temperature Curing Electrically Conductive Epoxy

spraying electronically conductive adhesiveElectronically conductive adhesives play an extensive role in manufacturing within a wide range of industries such as electronics, solar cell, medical instruments, aerospace and automotive. Creative Materials is recognized for superior products for electronic component bonding, which offer features that ensure consistency, reliability, versatility and ease of use. These products are silver-filled, one- and two-part systems with excellent conductivity and are less sensitive to handling and ambient conditions.

The GPC-251 Epoxy is a silver filled adhesive designed for making electrical and mechanical attachments on electrical components and devices. Unlike typical room temperature curing systems, this product always results in excellent conductivity and is less sensitive to handling and ambient conditions.  Complimentary B components allow for customization of end properties, use B2612 for more flexibility and lower stress, use the standard B component for high strength requirements.  Silver in color, this is a two-part, room temperature curing conductive adhesive.

Creative Materials 111-27 High Dielectric Sprayable Coating Clear

Dielectric inks and coatings play an important role in protecting and enhancing conductive materials.  When designed to be compatible with specific electrically conductive inks, dielectric coatings create an insulating layer and provide crossover links that make printed silver inks more durable.  Coatings are solvent-resistant to humidity, temperature and solvents. Typical applications of dielectric inks and coatings might include polymer thick film circuitry, membrane switches, flex circuits, weathering resistance of electrical/electronic devices, and much more.

The 111-27 product is a flexible, electrically insulating coating suitable for application by spraying, dipping and syringe dispensing.  This product features excellent adhesion to Kapton, Mylar, glass, and a variety of other surfaces.  Unlike conventional insulating materials, this product is very resistant to flexing and creasing.  Just a few applications for 111-27 include, but are not limited to, insulating polyimide flexible circuits, polymer thick film circuitry, and membrane switches. 111-27 also protects components from moisture, salts, and abrasion.  Application methods might include screen printing, stamping, dip coat, syringe dispensing, or pad print.

We’re excited to make available these quality product offerings from Creative Materials. We’ll be continuing to add more of their products to this page on our site.
