Accessories & Hardware from Chemical Concepts that greatly simplify your dishwasher installation – Part I

Installing dishwashers, especially in years past, had proven a cumbersome task for contractors, remodelers, and stone fabricators. Chemical Concepts, however, as a result of introducing no-drill fasteners for dishwashers and undermount sinks, has greatly simplified that process.

Further, since its initial innovation, new features have been added to improve the final product, like adding more surface area, embossing the underside of the mounting plate, and adding dimples to control the bond line. Then came our F1CT38 hardware, with a separate ¼” stud that gives shops the flexibility to install undermounts in-shop rather than on-site. And finally (at least for now) we rolled out our adjustable dishwasher fastener to streamline and simplify things when dishwashers were to be installed later, rather than real time.

Chem-Set F1CT38 Dishwasher Fastener

The F1CT38 is a convenient glue-on fastening system for mounting a dishwasher to the underside of a countertop (quartz, engineered stone, or similar solid surface). To be used in tandem with the 633 Epoxy from Chem-Set, this system will cure in place (to be aligned with your dishwasher tabs) in mere minutes, providing a sturdy anchor for screws and other hardware. This innovative product – the first of its series – eliminates the need for wooden strips and painstaking drilling!

Chem-Set F1TM38 Dishwasher Fastener (Adjustable)

The F1TM38 is a glue-on fastener, used in the same style as the F1CT38. The feature that sets this piece of hardware apart is that it’s totally adjustable. This means that installers need not be 100% accurate with their initial alignment, as the fastener has the capability of adjusting to meet the demands of the installation team – now or later.

• For Granite and marble surfaces, use in tandem with our Chem-Set 605 Acrylic.
