Description

QGel 310 encapsulant is a two-part gel system supplied in a pint-sized kit with 1 kg each of Part A and Part B, mixed at a 1:1 ratio by weight. The compact kit size fits small-scale production runs and field repairs where a full pail kit is more than the job requires.

QGel 310 Encapsulant Cure Profile

QGel 310 encapsulant reaches gel time in about 45 minutes at room temperature, and the system supports both room-temperature and heat cure across a 25C to 150C range. Once cured, the gel remains transparent, useful where visual inspection of the encapsulated component matters after potting.

Operating range spans -55C to 204C, giving the cured gel a wide service-temperature window for electronics and component protection applications. Density of 0.97 g/cm3 and a 5 to 9 mm penetration value describe a soft gel consistency rather than a rigid cured resin, which helps the encapsulant absorb vibration and thermal expansion around potted components.
