Description
The Techcon TS7000 locking cap secures TE and TT series dispense tips onto the TS7000IMP rotary auger valve outlet. It is the standard-issue cap for this dispensing valve, and it is the first part to check when a tip works loose mid-cycle or leaks at the outlet.
Where This Dispensing Valve Cap Fits
The cap threads onto the valve outlet and clamps the dispense tip in place so the tip stays aligned through repeated Z-axis travel and tip-touchdown cycles. It is sized for the standard TE and TT tip families used across the TS7000IMP line, and it ships as the standard locking option. A separate cap variant exists for TS-SS tips.
Tip gauge selection affects dot size and bead width more than any other variable on the TS7000IMP platform. A lower gauge number (larger inside diameter) lays down a wider bead, while a higher gauge number produces a finer line. As a working rule, dot diameter runs about 1.5 times the dispense tip’s inside diameter, and the tip-to-substrate gap is set to roughly half that same inside diameter. This cap has to seat fully for that geometry to stay repeatable shot after shot.
