Description
The Techcon DMP16-10-NOLUB is a 16-pitch Disposable Material Path insert for the TS5000DMP rotary auger valve, packaged 10 to a box in the no-lube configuration. It is one of the core dispensing valve parts that keep a DMP-style rotary valve running two-component and UV-cure fluids without the cleaning downtime a conventional auger valve requires.
Techcon’s DMP system is built around a disposable feed screw so the wetted path never needs solvent flushing between fluid changes or material batches. The valve body has a hinged door that opens to let the operator pull the used insert, drop in a fresh one, and get back to dispensing in seconds, with no teardown or refurbishment of the valve itself.

Choosing the Right Pitch for These Dispensing Valve Parts
Pitch controls how much material the feed screw moves per rotation, so it is the setting a process engineer tunes for viscosity and shot size rather than a cosmetic spec. The 16-pitch insert sits at the higher-flow end of the DMP lineup, better suited to higher-viscosity fluids or larger shot volumes than the 6 or 8-pitch inserts covering finer, lower-volume work. Running the wrong pitch for a given fluid usually shows up as an inconsistent bead or a mix ratio drift long before anyone traces it back to the insert.
Because the whole insert is disposable rather than cleanable, there is no solvent compatibility question to work through when switching fluids, which is the main reason shops move to a DMP-style valve for two-component and UV materials in the first place. Keeping a box of the correct pitch on hand means a fluid or batch change is a swap, not a cleaning cycle.
Chemical Concepts carries the DMP insert family alongside the rest of the Techcon dispensing valves, mixers, and nozzles line.
