Description

The Techcon 20 gauge bent TE tip is a dispensing needle for controlled 90 degree material placement. The 1/2 inch needle length and bent outlet help operators reach around small features, dispense along a sidewall, or place a bead where a straight tip would force the handpiece into the part. The 50 pack is suited to bench assembly, repair work, and production cells that replace tips during material or color changes.

Dispensing Needle Applications

Bent tips are useful when the target point is visible but not directly accessible from above. Electronics assemblers use angled outlets for edge bonds, potting touch-ups, and work near components. Fabrication and sign shops use them for small adhesive deposits along returns, channels, and close-fitting joints. The 20 gauge opening supports controlled flow for many adhesives, sealants, coatings, greases, and pastes. Keep this pack with dispensing tip inventory, mixing nozzle supplies, and 2 part mixing nozzle cartridges so operators can switch from straight placement to side-entry placement without changing the full dispense setup.

Setup and Handling Notes

Confirm the TE hub and 20 gauge size match the barrel, valve, or adapter before use. A 90 degree bend changes how material exits, so test the shot direction before moving to production parts. Use moderate pressure with higher-viscosity materials and watch for delayed drip at the end of the shot. Replace the tip if the bend is damaged, if cured material narrows the outlet, or if the bead becomes inconsistent. For jb weld mixing nozzle compatible repairs, use the bent tip only when the mixed material can flow cleanly through the selected gauge.

Quality Checks Before Use

Run a short purge after installing the tip and watch where the first bead lands. The bend should be oriented before pressure is applied, because rotating the hub while material is moving can smear the deposit or stress the needle. For close-clearance work, mark the preferred hand angle on the fixture or work instruction so the bead lands in the same place each cycle. Keep unused tips covered and replace any tip that arrives bent beyond the intended 90 degree form, since a damaged outlet can throw the bead off target.
