Description
The Techcon TS13SS is a large-bore stainless steel dispensing needle in 13 gauge with a 1/2 inch cannula and a Luer lock hub, sold 12 to a box. The wide 13 gauge opening moves thick, high viscosity material that would stall a fine tip, making it a workhorse for greases, filled epoxies, and RTV silicone.
Where the dispensing needle fits
This needle fits Luer lock syringe barrels and dispense valves on manual and automated fluid dispensing. The 13 gauge bore is one of the larger sizes in the range, built for heavy, high viscosity fluids such as thick epoxies, greases, RTV silicone, solder paste, and filled compounds. The short 1/2 inch length keeps pressure drop low so material flows without excessive back pressure on the barrel.
How it performs in service
The burr-free stainless tube is crimped into a locking insert molded into the hub, holding the cannula secure under the higher pressure that thick material demands. A large bore also respects the rule that tip inner diameter should run at least five times the biggest particle in a filled fluid, which keeps abrasive or loaded pastes from clogging. Stainless cleans up with solvent for reuse across production runs.
