Sensor housings, control modules, and small connector assemblies use QGel 322 to isolate components from vibration and mechanical shock while keeping the potted section light and low-stress on surrounding solder joints. The clear cure allows visual inspection after potting, which helps on assemblies that go through a final quality check before shipping. Because the gel stays soft, it also absorbs the thermal expansion mismatch between dissimilar materials in a housing without cracking at the interface, and it holds up on assemblies that see repeated on-off thermal cycling in service without losing its cushioning properties over time.

QGel 322 mixes one part to one part and cures at room temperature over 24 hours, or faster with a heat cure for production runs that need quicker turnaround. No metering or dispensing equipment is required, so a technician can hand mix small batches for prototypes or low-volume assemblies without investing in automated equipment. Pour time is generous enough to fill moderately complex cavities before the mix begins to set, and the room-temperature option is useful for potting components that would not tolerate an oven cycle.
