Description
The Medmix Mixpac MAH 06-12T static mixer is a disposable nozzle for compatible 50 mL AA-series two-component cartridges in 1:1 and 2:1 ratios. Its twist-lock connection secures the mixer to the cartridge outlet, while the internal elements combine resin and hardener as material moves toward the tip. It is suited to epoxies, polyurethanes, silicones, acrylics, methacrylates, and other two-part materials when the cartridge interface and ratio match.
Static Mixer Fit and Setup
Confirm the cartridge family, outlet geometry, ratio, and required mixer model before loading the dispenser. Remove the cartridge cap, keep the two outlets free of cured material, and equalize flow according to the adhesive instructions. Attach the mixer with the twist-lock connection, then dispense and discard the initial mixed material until color and flow appear uniform. The nozzle should seat fully without forcing the connection.
Replace the mixer whenever material cures inside it or flow resistance increases unexpectedly. Do not try to clear a partially cured nozzle with excess gun pressure, since that can damage the cartridge, dispenser, or connection. For interrupted work, follow the adhesive manufacturer’s guidance for working time and mixer replacement.
Static Mixer Applications
This format supports controlled beads in electronics, transportation, aerospace, marine, construction, concrete repair, and general assembly. The disposable flow path reduces manual mixing and helps operators place material directly into joints, fillets, and cavities. Bead quality still depends on adhesive viscosity, temperature, dispenser condition, cartridge balance, and the selected tip geometry.
