Application Guidance
Make sure substrates are clean and free of moisture, dirt and oil. Let the adhesive and substrates acclimate to room temperature (about 60°F or above). Spray approximately 2.5–3.0 grams/sq. ft. with at least 80% coverage. A fully dry film shows a uniform glossy sheen, and dull areas need another coat. Porous substrates should get two coats, with the first acting as a sealer. Let the adhesive dry completely before assembly. A knuckle test with no transfer means the surfaces are ready to bond. Bond within the open time and apply uniform pressure of 40 pounds per linear inch, ideally with a pinch roller or a properly used J-roller. Bonds can be routed, trimmed, cut and machined immediately.
Do not use application equipment containing aluminum or copper, and do not bond copper or copper alloy substrates. Do not use on polystyrene foams or plasticized vinyl. Do not mix with other adhesives or thin with lacquer thinner or other solvents.
Typical Use Cases

- Leather and rubber assembly
- Compatible metal bonding
Target Industries and Buyers
- Cabinet and countertop fabricators
- Millwork shops
- Furniture manufacturers
- OEM assemblers
- Industrial laminators
Performance Advantages
A 2–5 minute dry time paired with a 30-minute open time keeps production moving while leaving room to position parts. High solids and strong green strength give immediate handling, so parts go straight to trimming and machining. Supplied in bulk for spray systems, CMT3019 suits shops running steady laminating volume.
Storage
Rotate stock and use the oldest first. Keep containers tightly closed and out of direct sunlight. If frozen, bring back to room temperature and agitate as needed. Shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
