The Counter-Lok Installation Process

 The Counter-Lok tool helps with your bridge piece installations in just seven simple steps:

1. Set-up  the Counter-Lok tool on both seams.
2. Apply a silicone sealant to the top of the cabinet where the bridge section will be installed.
3. Prepare the bridge piece of installation using your preferred seaming adhesive.
4. Insert the bridge piece and level with the existing counter using supplied nylon thumbscrews to adjust height and alignment.
5. Remove excess adhesive and prepare the seam.
6. Wait for the adhesive to set.
7. Remove the Counter-Lok tool and finish the seam.

Each Counter-Lok kit that you order from Chemical Concepts includes includes two of the Counter-Lok tools, as well as sixteen nylon adjustable thumbscrews. The nylon adjustable screws (which act as a ‘soft’ material to set the stone strip and to adjust and level the bridge piece) will not mar, chip or blemish your stone surface like a conventional metal screw.
