Description

The Techcon 10cc receiver head is the connector that links a 400 Series syringe barrel to an automated or benchtop dispensing controller. It carries regulated air pressure down a sealed line to the barrel, giving the operator a consistent push instead of a loose fitting that can pop off mid-cycle. The fitting is sold as an individual replacement part, so a worn hose or o-ring does not mean replacing the whole controller.

Where the Techcon 10cc Receiver Head Is Used

Lines dispensing slightly larger adhesive or potting compound beads, or running a fill cycle that needs more barrel volume than a 6cc setup allows, use the 10cc version of this fitting. The 6 foot hose reaches from a wall-mounted or cart-mounted controller out to a fixture, jig, or robot end effector, keeping the syringe barrel free to move with the tooling while the controller stays put. An optional in-line filter (Techcon part 881-000-000) is available for lines running without a fitted piston, keeping particulate out of the controller side of the line. Choosing the 10cc version over the 6cc version only matters if the barrel itself is sized for the larger volume, since mixing receiver head capacity with the wrong barrel size will not seal correctly.
