Techcon’s 400 Series receiver heads pair with digital timed dispensers such as the TS250, TS255, and TS350 controllers, delivering metered air pulses to actuate a 3cc syringe barrel. This head-only version is the direct replacement part for stations where the hose and quick-connect fitting are already in place and functioning, whether that hose runs 3 ft, 6 ft, or a custom length. Conformal coating, potting, and adhesive metering stations running 3cc barrels use this part interchangeably with the assembled 3 ft and 6 ft versions.
How the Dispensing Valve Connection Holds Up
The head is a one-piece molded body with a fitted O-ring seal, built to withstand repeated connect and disconnect cycles against a 3cc barrel without leaking air past the seal. It threads onto the existing hose assembly using the same quick-connect standard as the full assemblies, so no other pneumatic hardware changes. Rated to the same 100 psi ceiling as the assembled versions, it holds the pressures typical of syringe-barrel dispensing without deforming or losing seal integrity under normal duty.
A 3cc barrel, tip, and receiver head form the wetted and pneumatic path of a complete dispensing station, and each wears on its own schedule. The head is usually the first to show seal wear after enough connect cycles, while the hose itself can outlast several heads.
