IP68 Deform-Nut Round Body, Flange-Sealing, Closed-End – Stainless Steel
These flange-sealing closed-end deform-nuts provide secure internal threads in thin materials while maintaining an IP68 water- and dust-tight seal. A plastic seal at the flange and a closed barrel prevent water and contaminant ingress, protecting sensitive equipment in outdoor or harsh environments.
Manufactured from 18-8 stainless steel (AISI 303 / 1.4305), these inserts resist corrosion and mild chemicals, making them suitable for marine, transportation, and outdoor use. The round shank body is designed for simple hole preparation, offering versatility in applications where hexagonal punch tooling is not available.
Also available in a Hex Body IP68 Deform-Nut version for maximum twist resistance.
