Description
The Techcon TS950 pistol grip is a pneumatic sealant gun assembly for 6 oz TS Series retainers. It combines the TS950 palm-grip air gun, pistol-grip handle, and 918-031-000 retainer into one working package for controlled material dispensing at benches and production stations.
Techcon TS950 Pistol Grip Fitment
This model is configured around the 6 oz (177 mL) TS Series retainer. The TS950 platform is designed to accept TS Series retainers, allowing facilities to select an assembly based on container size while keeping a familiar pneumatic control format. The included pistol-grip handle provides a conventional hand position for aiming the outlet and moving along a joint.
The gun is supplied without an air hose. The compatible 1000-12 ten-foot hose assembly is ordered separately. Before installation, confirm the retainer, cap, hose, connector, and material package are compatible with the planned dispensing setup. Do not substitute a different container size without checking the corresponding retainer and assembly configuration.
Pneumatic Setup and Use
Connect the applicator to a regulated air source using approved hose and connection hardware. Load the compatible material package into the retainer, secure the cap, and verify that each connection is seated before applying pressure. Start with controlled pressure and test material flow on a waste surface. Adjust the air supply according to the material, outlet, and bead requirement while staying within the documented equipment limit.
The Techcon TS950 pistol grip supports sealant and fluid-dispensing tasks where a steady pneumatic push is preferred over repeated manual trigger force. It can serve assembly, repair, gasketing, potting, and sealing stations when the packaged material and outlet components match the retainer.
