Description
AirFlow 1 PPA is a COX pneumatic two-component dispenser for 300 mL 1:1 cartridges used with low and medium viscosity adhesives, sealants, and potting materials. The PPA 150B format gives production teams air-powered control when manual dispensing is too slow for repeated cartridge work.
AirFlow 1 PPA Benefits
- Pneumatic drive reduces operator fatigue during repeated 300 mL cartridge dispensing.
- 1:1 plunger setup supports side-by-side cartridges with equal-volume A and B chambers.
- 494 lbf maximum thrust gives steady pressure for low and medium viscosity materials.
- Adjustable air regulator lets crews tune bead rate for the cartridge, mixer, and material temperature.
- Air return and quick exhaust features help keep dispense starts and stops controlled.
This tool fits benches and production cells where compressed air is available and the same cartridge format is run often. It pairs with static mixers selected for the adhesive ratio and material viscosity.
AirFlow 1 PPA Applications
- Dispensing 300 mL two-part epoxy, urethane, silicone, or acrylic cartridges.
- Assembly cells that need repeatable bead placement across multiple parts.
- Potting and sealing jobs where manual plungers slow the operator.
- Prototype work using 1:1 side-by-side cartridges.
- Maintenance shops standardizing around COX pneumatic cartridge tools.
Setup And Use
Confirm the cartridge ratio, plunger set, and mixer style before loading material. Start with lower air pressure, dispense a purge bead through a fresh mixer, then increase pressure only as needed for a stable bead. Keep the cartridge seated squarely so both plungers advance evenly.
After use, remove the static mixer before material cures in the nozzle. Store the tool clean and check seals, plungers, and air fittings as part of regular bench maintenance.
Technical Details And Documentation
Published COX references list the PPA 150B family for 225 mL, 250 mL, and 300 mL cartridges, 1:1 and 2:1 ratios, 494 lbf maximum thrust, 100 psi maximum pneumatic pressure, and 40 liters per minute air consumption. Review current product information from COX dispensers before standardizing a process.
