Description
The Albion bucket scraping tool pulls the last of the sealant out of a bulk pail instead of leaving it on the walls. The 2 in wide stainless steel blade is ground to a knife edge, and the offset hardwood handle keeps knuckles clear of the rim while the blade rides the sides and bottom of the bucket.
Where the Albion Bucket Scraping Tool Earns Its Keep
A pail of sealant carries real material cost, and a flexible spatula leaves ounces behind on every fill. A rigid ground edge gets it out. Crews that bulk-load caulking guns keep one of these next to the follower plate.
- Scraping sealant and chinking from the sides and bottom of 2 and 5 gallon pails when bulk loading guns
- Log home chinking and sealant work where material moves from pail to gun all day
- Cleaning excess material off substrates at saw-cut or flush joints where sealant overflows
- Clearing mixing buckets before leftover material cures in place
Albion Bucket Scraping Tool Construction
- Rigid stainless steel blade, 2 in wide tip, 8 in long
- Ground knife edge for clean contact with pail walls
- Offset hardwood handle for clearance over the pail rim
- Albion part 258-33718 (Chemical Concepts SKU ALB-258-33718)
The blade takes solvent cleanup the same way a steel putty knife does, so cured residue comes off with a wipe and the edge stays true. The hardwood handle is shaped for a full-hand grip, which matters on long scraping sessions at the bottom of a 5 gallon pail. It earns back its price in recovered sealant within a few pails, then keeps working for years.
Pair it with bulk guns, follower plates, and loading accessories in our dispensers, mixers, and nozzles range. The full line of bulk dispensing equipment is at Albion Engineering.
