Bostik 2200 TS Advanced Polymer Sealant, Gray

Description

Bostik 2200 TS is a one-component, moisture-curing calk and sealant built for seam sealing and gap filling on transportation equipment and general fabrication work. It will not shrink as it cures and can be painted after skin formation, which lets a finished panel keep a uniform look after the seam is sealed. This gray cartridge covers perimeter seams, roof penetrations, and body panel joints.

Where This Calk and Sealant Is Used

2200 TS shows up on trains, buses, truck bodies, trailers, and recreational and special-purpose vehicles, both inside and out. Typical jobs include perimeter sealing around windows and access panels, roof penetration sealing, and sidewall, lap, or butt seam sealing where the joint sees vibration and thermal movement in service. It provides adhesion to both porous and nonporous surfaces, so it handles mixed-material joints between metal panels and composite or painted surfaces without a separate primer step in most applications.
