Description

The Techcon TS7000 32-pitch cartridge assembly is a fine-pitch feed screw and chamber unit built for low-flow, high-precision dispensing on the TS7000-DCX-32 rotary auger valve. As fine-pitch dispensing valve parts, the finer thread meters smaller volumes per rotation than the 8-pitch or 16-pitch cartridges.

Where Fine-Pitch Dispensing Valve Parts Are Used

Electronics assembly and micro-dispensing applications, including small SMT dots, conformal coating touch-up, and fine-line conductive adhesive traces, run on the 32-pitch cartridge because the fine thread lets the valve hold sub-microliter repeatability that a coarser pitch cannot match. The cartridge drops into the same TS7000 divorced-cartridge housing used across the whole IMP valve line.

Choosing Between 32-Pitch Dispensing Valve Parts and Coarser Options

A 32-pitch screw moves less fluid per revolution than an 8-pitch or 16-pitch screw at the same motor speed, which is the tradeoff for finer control. Lines dispensing thin, low-viscosity fluids in small volumes benefit most from the extra resolution, while thicker or higher-volume fluids are better served by the coarser cartridges.

Fine-pitch cartridges also tend to show wear sooner on abrasive-filled fluids than coarser pitches, simply because the thread contact area per revolution is smaller, so shops running silver-filled or ceramic-filled fluids through a 32-pitch valve should inspect the cartridge on a shorter interval than they would for an 8-pitch line. Pair this cartridge with a small-bore dispense tip to get the full benefit of the fine pitch, since an oversized tip can mask the resolution gain.
