Description

Chem-Set™ CA5 is an ultra-low viscosity, thin-set cyanoacrylate adhesive designed for wicking, penetration, and bonding closely fitted parts where thicker adhesives cannot flow effectively. With a viscosity of approximately 2–3 cP, CA5 readily penetrates hairline gaps, tight joints, and porous substrates, creating fast, high-strength bonds with minimal adhesive build.

Engineered for high-speed industrial assembly, maintenance, and precision repair, CA5 delivers extremely fast fixture times and strong adhesion across metals, plastics, rubber, ceramics, and composites. Its thin consistency allows it to wick into pre-assembled parts and micro-cracks, making it ideal for applications where access is limited or parts are already positioned.

CA5 is also commonly used in stone fabrication environments as a thin-grade cyanoacrylate for minor chip repair, surface nicks, and cosmetic touch-ups. Its ability to penetrate fine cracks and bond stone particles makes it well suited for light repairs where minimal buildup and a clean finish are required.
