Description
The Mixpac MGQ 10-24D mixer is a 24-element disposable plastic static mixer from Sulzer (now medmix) with an integral-nut mounting style that fits all common two-part cartridge ratios: 1:1, 2:1, 4:1, and 10:1. The single mixer body covers a wide ratio range, which simplifies stocking for shops that run epoxies, methacrylates, urethanes, silicones, and acrylics off the same gun. One SKU on the shelf replaces what would otherwise be three or four separate ratio-specific mixers.
Where Mixpac MGQ 10-24D mixer fits
Used to dispense epoxy, polyurethane, silicone, acrylic, methacrylate, and other two-part adhesives and sealants from G-series and compatible cartridges. Typical end uses span electronics potting, aerospace and aircraft assembly, wind turbine bond and repair, automotive structural bonding, communications hardware, concrete repair, and any construction or production setting that calls for metered two-component dispensing through a static mixer with a quick mechanical connection at the cartridge port.
How Mixpac MGQ 10-24D mixer holds up
The 24 spiral elements deliver thorough mixing on materials that range from low-viscosity acrylics to thicker filled epoxies. The integral-nut interface threads onto the cartridge port and stays put under the dispensing pressure typical of hand and pneumatic guns. As a disposable mixer, it is replaced between bond cycles when working life is reached, eliminating clean-out cycles and cross-contamination risk between materials. Disposable mixers also make material changeovers fast: pull the old one, install the new one, prime and dispense. See medmix for the full Mixpac mixer family.
