Description
QSil Primer No. 3 Clear is a one-component silicone adhesion primer formulated with reactive silanes in a volatile solvent system. It is designed to improve adhesion between silicone elastomers and a range of substrates, including metals, rubber, polyester, and nylon.
This clear version is used where no visible residue is desired after application, making it suitable for cosmetic surfaces or assemblies where appearance is critical. It provides the same adhesion performance as the standard blue version without visual indication of coverage.
Upon application, the solvent evaporates to leave a thin bonding layer that promotes adhesion of both addition-cure and condensation-cure silicones. The primer cures with ambient moisture and is suitable for use on non-porous surfaces.
