Description
The CounterBalance concealed bracket supports a floating countertop while keeping the steel support below the finished surface and behind the wall covering. This extended 9-inch configuration has a 1-inch-wide arm, a black finish, and an upper vertical extension that connects the support to structural framing.
Hidden Support for Countertop Overhangs
The bracket attaches to a load-bearing stud behind drywall, allowing the horizontal arm to project below the countertop without a visible decorative corbel. The upper extension helps transfer force into the wall framing. This layout fits kitchens, reception counters, work surfaces, and other installations where clear knee space and a clean finished edge matter. Confirm that the selected arm length and countertop design suit the planned overhang. Coordinate bracket placement with plumbing, wiring, seams, and cabinet partitions before the wall is closed.
CounterBalance Concealed Bracket Installation Checks
Locate and verify the structural stud before opening the wall. Hold the bracket flat to the framing, mark the mounting locations, and confirm that the arm will finish level with the countertop bearing plane. Install the supplied hardware only in suitable structural material. Metal-stud walls may require added backing. Before the countertop is placed, check the spacing between supports, the wall condition, and the alignment of every arm across the run. Do not use finish drywall as the load-bearing attachment surface. Photograph the framing and bracket locations before closing the wall so later trades can avoid drilling into the support system.
