Description

The FAST-CON Female Fastener is the structure-side half of a concealed metal snap system for removable panels and coverings. Part FC-01-FE.51 is made from 316 stainless steel and connects with the matching male component by direct pressure. The installed pair holds a panel without an exposed screw head, while deliberate traction allows access for inspection, service, cleaning, or replacement.

Concealed Panel Attachment

FAST-CON hardware fits cabinetry, wall panels, false ceilings, marine interiors, vehicle trim, access covers, furniture doors, displays, and other assemblies that need repeatable removal. The female component can be attached to the supporting structure by an appropriate screw, rivet, or bonding method. The mating male component is fixed to the removable panel after the locations have been transferred accurately.

A center marker can be placed in the female component to transfer each connection point to the panel. Once marked, install the male components at those locations, align the panel, and press until the pairs engage. A dedicated removal tool helps spread the pulling force during service. Layout accuracy matters because several fasteners must align at the same time on larger panels.
