Description
Fluorolube GR-660 is the heaviest PCTFE fluoropolymer grease in the Fluorolube line. NLGI 2 consistency with H-100 base oil equivalent (~500+ cSt) for maximum film thickness and load-bearing capacity. Highest dropping point in the line at 575°F (300°C). Nonflammable, oxygen-compatible.
GR-660 Benefits
- Highest dropping point in the Fluorolube grease line: 575°F (300°C)
- Very high base oil viscosity (~500+ cSt) for maximum film thickness
- Maximum stay-in-place behavior for slow-moving high-load applications
- Nonflammable PCTFE chemistry safe for oxygen service
- Stable in strongly oxidizing and acidic environments
- ~80% combined fluorine and chlorine content
Common Applications
- Slow-moving high-load bearings and components
- Extreme sealing environments
- Aggressive chemical service with high film demand
- Oxygen service systems
- High-temperature valve sealing

Selection Notes
GR-660 is the highest-viscosity / highest-dropping-point grease in the Fluorolube line. For lower viscosity and faster-moving parts, see GR-362 or GR-375. GR-660’s minimum service temperature (100°F) is higher than the other grease grades, so it’s not suited for sub-room-temperature applications.
Use Restrictions
Do not use with aluminum or magnesium parts under heavy friction. Avoid contact with sodium, potassium, amines, hydrazine, liquid fluorine, and chlorine trifluoride.
