Description
G-Tape 1006TG hazard tape is a removable black-and-yellow stripe tape for marking caution areas, masking floors, protecting surfaces, and making temporary repairs. The 2 inch by 82 foot roll uses a laminated polyethylene cloth backing with a proprietary acrylic adhesive. It tears straight by hand, so crews can place clean lengths without carrying a knife or scissors.
High-visibility marking with clean removal
The woven cloth construction gives the tape useful tensile strength while remaining flexible enough to follow common floor and equipment contours. Its acrylic adhesive can be repositioned during placement, which helps installers straighten a line or remove wrinkles before pressing it down. Face-to-face adhesive contact separates cleanly, reducing wasted tape when a loose end folds back onto the roll.
Black-and-yellow striping makes the product easy to see around temporary work zones, restricted walkways, equipment clearances, maintenance areas, and fabrication stations. It also works as short-term surface protection on metal, painted surfaces, plastic, and ceramic. The official technical data describes residue-free removal after outdoor exposure, although every critical finish should be tested in a small hidden area before full application.

Apply to a clean, dry surface free of oil, dust, and loose particles. Press along the full strip to establish contact, especially across textured flooring. Because the bond is removable, this tape is intended for temporary marking and protection rather than permanent safety striping. Inspect it during extended outdoor use and replace any section that lifts, tears, or becomes difficult to see.
