Where Araldite TDR 1100-11 Resin is Used
The TDR 1100-11 system was developed specifically for archery bow manufacturing, where bonded glass laminate over wood cores must withstand repeated high-flex cycles without delamination. The convenient 2:1 mix ratio simplifies use with cartridge dispensers and meter-mix machines, while the long pot life gives bow makers enough working time to lay up complex limb stacks before gelation begins. Many compound and recurve bow shops standardize on this chemistry for its predictable handling and clear bond line, which makes visual quality control on finished limbs straightforward.
The 35 lb pail size is intended for production volumes. Pair with the matching TDR 1100-11 hardener to complete the system. For technical data sheets and engineering support on the broader Araldite line, visit Huntsman’s Advanced Materials division.
