Description
Techcon TS7000-16 IMP rotary valve is a dispensing valve for metering thick fluids with a removable material path and 16 pitch feed screw. It is built for controlled dots, beads, and repeat deposits where air pressure alone does not give enough control over solder paste, silver epoxy, grease, sealant, or filled adhesive.
dispensing valve for Rotary Metering
The TS7000 IMP design uses a rotating feed screw to move material forward in measured increments. The 16 pitch configuration is a practical choice when the process needs fine metering and consistent deposit size rather than maximum flow. The interchangeable material path lets maintenance teams change the screw and chamber cartridge without removing the main valve body from the machine.
Where a dispensing valve Fits
- Automated and semi-automated dispensing cells for high-viscosity materials.
- Electronics assembly work using solder paste, conductive epoxy, or thermal compound.
- Small bead and dot applications where deposit repeatability matters.
- Production lines that need serviceable material paths for filled or abrasive fluids.

Set up the valve with the correct controller, feed pressure, tip, and material path for the fluid being run. Purge the valve before production, weigh or inspect early shots, and clean the wetted components according to the material procedure. Filled compounds can wear metering parts over time, so keep service records tied to the fluid and shot count.
Document the first acceptable pressure, tip size, stroke or timing setting, and material package for each job. That record helps the next technician return to a known setup after cleaning, part replacement, or a material change.
