Leister Uniplan 500 Benefits
The Leister Uniplan 500 automates overlap welding for truck tarpaulins, tents, banners, and large liners. Integrated tarpaulin lifting and automatic swivel-in of the nozzle make each weld start cleaner and more repeatable. A movable swivel castor wheel steers the machine around grommets, hooks, and other obstacles without stopping the run. The brushless, maintenance-free blower motor and closed-loop temperature control hold process reliability across voltage swings and changing site conditions.
Common Applications
Operators use the Uniplan 500 to join PVC and coated technical textiles for truck tarps, tents, banners, pond and pit liners, and similar industrial fabrics. Material-specific parameters can be saved for repeatable results on future projects. An included accessory allows a one-step change from overlap welding to hem or pipe welding, and contact pressure adjusts by adding or removing the included weights.

The Uniplan 500 runs on 120 V at 1800 W with a drive speed of 3.3 to 52.5 feet per minute and a blower speed of 18,000 rpm. Unit size is 19.7 x 12.2 x 11.8 inches and weight is about 35 lbs without cable. Noise emission is 70 dB (K = 3 dB). Choose the 30mm (article 164.561) or 40mm (article 164.560) nozzle width. Delivery includes the welder, overlap guide, hem guide, material lifting device, two weights, weight holder base and extension, brass brush, short handle, nozzle adjustment gauge, and tool case.
