Description

LORD 506/19 is a two part acrylic adhesive system supplied here as a 50 mL low shelf life cartridge. It pairs LORD 506 acrylic adhesive with Accelerator 19 for fast room-temperature bonding of many plastics, FRP, and prepared metals.

Parker documentation describes LORD 506 with Accelerator 17 or 19 as a semi-flexible adhesive system that quickly bonds thermoplastics and thermoset plastics. Published data also lists prepared metals, ABS, acrylic, polycarbonate, FRP, urethane, phenolic, polysulfone, and vinyl among suitable substrates. The cured system is built to handle sudden stress loading while keeping useful resistance to heat, solvents, oils, moisture, UV exposure, and dilute acids.

LORD 506/19 Low Shelf Life Use

Use this cartridge when the job is ready and the adhesive can be consumed soon. It is not the right purchase for stocking months ahead. Before production use, confirm the lot condition, remaining shelf life, and any customer qualification requirements. Handheld cartridges dispense the components through a static mixer, so even color and a clean mixer purge are important checks before bonding customer parts. Keep clamps, wipes, and replacement mixers ready because the short work time leaves little room for setup after dispensing starts.
