Description
Pacer Premium Acetone is the high-purity acetone formulated by Pacer Technology for cleaning cyanoacrylate (CA) residue, debonding cured CA joints, and prepping surfaces before adhesive application. Pacer Premium Acetone is the same chemistry pros reach for when they need to clean a brush, free a stuck nozzle, recover a part that was bonded in the wrong position, or simply prepare a metal surface before applying CA, epoxy, or structural acrylic.
Where Pacer Premium Acetone fits in a CA workflow
Acetone is the working solvent for cyanoacrylate workflows. Use this product for cleaning CA off skin and tools, removing uncured residue from substrates before re-bonding, softening cured CA joints for debonding, and degreasing porous substrates before bonding. It also handles general adhesive overspray on hard substrates that tolerate solvent contact. Shops that run high CA volume keep a bottle on every bench because changeover speed depends on how quickly tools can be cleaned and re-prepped between jobs.

Surface-prep workflow with Pacer Premium Acetone
For best bond strength on metals and glass, wipe the substrate with a lint-free cloth wet with solvent, allow flash-off, then apply the cyanoacrylate. Do not use it on ABS, polystyrene, polycarbonate, or painted finishes; test a hidden spot first. For debonding, soak the joint and pry gently as the bondline softens. Keep nitrile gloves on, work in a ventilated area, and store the container away from spark sources.
