Description

The Plexus static mix nozzle in PLX30079 is the disposable element of the dispensing chain for 250ml 1:1 MMA cartridges. Each nozzle blends Part A and Part B as the adhesive moves down its internal helix, delivering a homogeneous mix without bubbles or stripes. One nozzle per shot, then replace.

What the Plexus static mix nozzle does

Plexus methacrylate adhesives ship in side-by-side cartridges. The two parts only meet inside the nozzle, where alternating internal elements fold the streams together. Without a fresh nozzle the cure goes uneven, the bond degrades, and parts fail in service. Treat the nozzle as a consumable. New shot, new nozzle.

Choosing the right Plexus static mix nozzle

Match nozzle to cartridge size and ratio. A 1:1 cartridge needs a 1:1 nozzle. A 10:1 cartridge needs a 10:1 nozzle. Using the wrong nozzle yields a wrong mix ratio and a weak bond. Stock spare nozzles in case the first shot purges debris or the bead sets up between applications. Replace any nozzle that has cured material at the tip.
