Description
The Techcon TF Series PTFE lined needle is a 25 gauge, 1 inch dispensing tip with a rigid PTFE liner crimped inside the stainless tube. The liner protrudes about 1/8 inch past the bore, so cyanoacrylate, anaerobic, and other reactive adhesives slide out instead of curing to the wall and clogging the needle. Each pack holds 50 tips.
Where the PTFE lined needle pays off
Any fluid that bonds to bare metal benefits from this tip. Instant adhesives, threadlockers, and UV resins flow through the slick liner without skinning over between shots, which cuts the downtime crews spend clearing blocked tips and scrapping cured needles. The double helix polypropylene hub locks onto luer fittings and stays put under dispense pressure.
How the PTFE lined needle holds up
The stainless tube gives the tip rigidity for accurate placement, while the PTFE liner shrugs off the solvents used to clean reactive chemistries. A consistent 25 gauge bore keeps deposits even across the whole pack, and the color coded hub speeds gauge identification when an operator switches fluids at the bench.
