What Makes M28 a High Tack Contact Adhesive

M28 is formulated with Quin Global’s CO-REZ technology, an engineered resin and gas matrix that delivers more adhesive coverage from less canister weight than a conventional contact adhesive propellant system. The high tack formulation lays down a heavier film than standard CO-REZ contact adhesives, which is what lets it grip porous surfaces, textured laminates, and less than smooth substrates that would starve a thinner adhesive. M28 meets California’s SCAQMD Rule 1168 VOC limits, so shops running production in South Coast air basin territory can use it without a compliance workaround. It carries heat resistance up to 250F/122C once cured, well above what most interior bonding applications ever see in service.

Using This High Tack Contact Adhesive in Production

M28 sprays through the same M130 hose and M120 or M125 gun used across the TensorGrip canister lineup, with the UniJet 11001B tip recommended for the web spray pattern this high build formula is designed around. Apply to both surfaces for the strongest bond, let the adhesive flash to tacky before mating parts, and expect initial handling strength within minutes with full cure building over one to three days. The 108 liter canister sits in the middle of Quin Global’s size range, between the 22 liter canister most shops use for shorter runs and the 216 liter jumbo for the largest production lines.
