Description
The TensorGrip M39 contact adhesive is a high-performance, plasticizer-resistant contact adhesive built for bonding vinyl, rubber, and plastics, along with decorative panels that demand heat or chemical resistance. It chemically crosslinks as it cures, so the finished joint behaves more like a reacted epoxy than a standard solvent contact cement, giving you a permanent hold that stands up to plasticizer migration on demanding decorative surfaces.
Why fabricators choose the TensorGrip M39 contact adhesive
Plasticizer migration is the usual reason a vinyl or laminate bond lets go over time. This adhesive resists that failure mode while still bonding standard laminate, aluminum, and many other substrates. The high-output spray pattern covers large panels quickly, and the formula tolerates damp surfaces through a moisture cure, which keeps production moving in less-than-ideal shop conditions.
Key features and specifications

- Semi-repositionable with open time up to 20 minutes
- Clear color, 22L canister, 548-day shelf life
Applications for the TensorGrip M39 contact adhesive
Use it on FRP and GRP panels, veneers, plywood, and vinyl in transportation, architectural, and industrial panel work where a standard contact cement would eventually release. Surface prep and handling
For the strongest results, bond clean, dry, dust-free surfaces and apply an even coat to both faces. Let the adhesive flash off until tacky, then mate the parts under firm, uniform pressure across the whole panel. Roll or press out trapped air so the two faces make full contact. Store the canister upright in a cool, dry area and observe the shelf life printed on the container.
