Description
The Techcon TS5000DMPL is the disposable material path insert for the TS5000DMP series rotary dispensing valve, built in a left-hand body configuration to match the mounting orientation of that side of a two-valve or multi-head dispensing cell. Techcon’s Disposable Material Path system swaps the wetted feed screw and housing as one sealed unit instead of asking a technician to flush and rebuild the valve between fluid changes, so this dispensing valve stays in service without a cleaning cycle between jobs.
Where This Dispensing Valve Insert Fits
- Two-component structural adhesive and potting compound dispensing where cross-contamination between shots is not acceptable
- UV-cure fluid dispensing where cured material inside a reused valve would eventually jam the feed screw
- High-mix production cells that change fluid formulations often and cannot afford valve teardown time between runs
- Left-hand mounted valve positions on dual-valve or gantry-style dispensing stations
Dispensing Valve Insert Specifications
- Compatible platform: Techcon TS5000DMP series rotary valve
- Body orientation: left hand
- Feed screw material: Delrin, disposable, replaced as a complete unit
- Feed screw pitch options: 6, 8, and 16, selected to match shot size and material viscosity
- Access: hinged door on the valve body opens for tool-free insert removal and replacement
- Fluid suitability: two-component and UV-cure fluids where wetted-path cleaning is impractical
Keep a stock of both left-hand and right-hand inserts on hand when running a dual-valve dispensing cell, since the two are not interchangeable. Swap the insert as soon as flow rate drifts or the feed screw shows resistance rather than waiting for a full stall, which protects the valve body from a harder rebuild later. Because the whole wetted path leaves with the old insert, there is no solvent flush and no downtime waiting on a rebuilt valve to dry before the next shot.
