Description
Sia 6120 hand pads are white siafleece nonwoven abrasive pads built for hand and portable-machine finishing. Each 6 by 9 inch pad flexes around contours and holds consistent cut over its full life, with aluminum oxide and silicon carbide grain bonded into a flexible nonwoven web for dry or wet work. The white nonwoven runs fine enough for finish work yet tough enough to cut rust and scale.
Where Sia 6120 hand pads are used
Fabricators reach for these pads to remove rust, knock back discoloration, and structure or finish a surface before coating or assembly. The conformable web wraps tight radii and profiles that a rigid sheet skips, which makes them a fit for blending welds, cleaning fittings, and prepping metal and composite parts by hand. They also clean welds and prep stainless before passivation or coating.
How Sia 6120 hand pads perform
The siafleece construction stays flexible and adapts to the part, resists clogging on soft residues, and delivers steady surface quality from the first pass to the last. They work dry or wet, so you can flush swarf away on wet sanding or run them dry on quick scuff and blend jobs. Wet use also keeps dust down on jobs that need it. Pad life stays predictable, so a shop can plan consumable use across a run. Pads come 20 to a box, 60 to a case.
