Dispensing Performance and Control

The SmartPak gun provides smooth, regulated dispensing with adjustable speed settings to control bead size and flow rate. The battery-powered version offers cordless operation and long battery life, eliminating the need for air lines.

Setup, Loading, and Operation

Setup and Loading

1. Lubricate the tubes properly.

2. Insert the plungers.

3. Load the SmartPak adhesive pouches, ensuring Part B goes into the Part B tube and Part A, red resin, goes into the other tube.

4. Set the thumb back, remove the C-lock clip and cap from the tip, cut, and remove the small plastic piece.

5. Insert the dispensing caps, matching red with red and activator with activator. The caps include penetrating spikes.

Penetrating and Initial Dispensing

1. Set the gun to speed two to penetrate the SmartPak pouches.

2. Once penetration has occurred, dispense until material begins to flow.

3. Press the trigger for auto-retract and clean up excess material.

Mixing and Full Dispensing

1. Attach the high-flow tip or the appropriate tip included in the pack, ensuring it is secured tightly.

2. Dispense initially on speed two. Some discoloration may occur at first due to incomplete mixing.

3. Continue dispensing until a consistent color is achieved, indicating proper mixing.

4. Switch the gun to speed four for full dispensing. The bead should be uniform, and the material should dispense without excessive force.

Cleanup

1. Press the trigger once more to compress the pouches and dispense any remaining adhesive.

2. Manually press the retract button and remove the tubes.

3. The caps and compressed pouches should remove easily with little to no adhesive remaining.
