Description
Sta-Put 2001M LVOC is an air-assist canister contact adhesive for high-temperature bonding on porous and many non-porous substrates. It fits industrial upholstery, RV, manufactured housing, marine, HVAC, textile, and general construction work where a portable canister system and long open time are useful.
Sta-Put 2001M LVOC Bonding Uses
The adhesive is part of the Sta-Put and GacoBond contact-adhesive family and is used for flatwork applications rather than postforming. It is suited to foam, fabric, laminates, wood products, and similar shop substrates when the application needs fast drying, strong tack, and water resistance. For related options, see Chemical Concepts contact cement adhesives.
Sta-Put 2001M LVOC Canister Setup
The air-assist format gives crews a self-contained spray system for work cells, install bays, and larger panels. Follow the current product data sheet and safety data sheet for flammable handling, ventilation, hose setup, spray pattern, and shutdown. Keep ignition sources away and train operators before moving this adhesive into production.
Process And Safety Planning
Use trial parts to confirm spray distance, coat weight, open time, and bond pressure before moving to full panels. Canister adhesives work best when the hose, gun, and tip are matched to the material and kept clean between shifts. Good setup also helps reduce overspray, uneven coverage, and adhesive waste on large laminate or foam jobs. This is especially useful for shops moving between foam, fabric, laminate, and panel bonding throughout the same production day. Check canister storage temperature and pressure before beginning a shift. Record batch and nozzle choices.
