Benefits
- High-build, no slump or sag during application
- Re-coatable as soon as dry to the touch
- Broad chemical resistance: inorganic acids, alkalis, salts, organic media
- Machinable after full cure
Common Applications
- Primer layer between filler and composite repair wrap
- Field pipeline maintenance, marine and chemical-industry repairs
- Patch, plug, and leak-repair operations
- Geometric transitions over large defects prior to ECR installation
Surface Prep and Application
- Substrate at least 5 deg C (40 deg F) and at least 3 deg C above dew point
- Warm base component to 15.5-25 deg C before mixing
- Mix per kit instructions; over-coat within 3 hours
- Long-term immersion: up to 70 deg C (158 deg F); intermittent steam to 120 deg C
- Resistant to dry heat in excess of 200 deg C, load dependent
