Application Guidance

Prepare both bonding surfaces so they are clean and free of dust, dirt, and grease. Spray from 6–10 inches away with a consistent coat that avoids puddling, targeting 80–100% coverage and a minimum coat weight of 2.5–3.0 dry grams per square foot. For porous materials, apply two coats and allow the second coat to dry fully before assembly. Join the surfaces carefully, then apply 40–60 PLI with a nip roller or suitable hand roller. The bonded assembly can be trimmed or routed immediately, with full bond strength developing in 24–48 hours depending on temperature and humidity. Use only in well-ventilated areas, and do not use this adhesive with plasticized vinyl, flexible plastics, expanded or extruded polystyrene, polyethylene, or polypropylene. Avoid copper, copper alloy, aluminum, or spray equipment containing copper or aluminum components.

Typical Use Cases

  • Laminating decorative surfaces to board stock
  • Bonding particle board, plywood, and hardwood components
  • Leather and rubber attachment in fabrication workflows
  • General contact adhesive application in OEM assembly
  • Shop and field bonding where air-assisted canister delivery is preferred

Target Industries and Buyers

  • Cabinet and millwork shops
  • Furniture and fixture manufacturers
  • Lamination and panel fabrication operations
  • OEM assembly teams
  • Industrial contractors and fabrication shops
  • Maintenance and production departments using spray-applied contact adhesives

Performance Advantages

Within the industrial contact adhesive category, this product combines air-assisted spray control, fast drying, and extended open time in a non-flammable canister format. Its high-solids construction supports broad coverage, while the softer spray pattern can help improve application control on surfaces where telegraphing is a concern.
