Tacbond

Tacbond is a contact cement and spray adhesive line owned by ICP Group, part of ICP’s roofing and construction adhesives portfolio. Chemical Concepts stocks the Tacbond line for foam fabrication, laminating, and general industrial bonding.

The lineup includes the V4540 and V4554 neoprene contact cements for flat-work and general bonding, the C1428 and C6010 water-based neoprene adhesives for job sites that require a non-flammable formula, the S5841 and S5847R spray adhesives for EPS foam fabrication, and the R6267 PVC/vinyl adhesive for brush-grade, low VOC application. Package sizes run from 13 oz aerosol cans up to 128 lb canisters and bulk drums.

Tacbond was originally developed by Choice Adhesives, a Cincinnati, Ohio manufacturer of solvent-based, water-based, aerosol, and hot-melt adhesives. ICP Group acquired Choice Adhesives in 2021, and the Tacbond trademark is now held by ICP Construction, Inc., headquartered in Andover, Massachusetts.
