Description
This Techcon TE dispensing needle is a 14 gauge, 45 degree bent stainless steel cannula built into a 1/2 inch working length. The bend lets an operator hold the syringe barrel upright while directing adhesive, sealant, or lubricant into a recessed feature, a vertical seam, or a spot that a straight needle cannot reach without tilting the whole assembly. Sold in packs of 50, it fits standard Luer lock syringe barrels used across Techcon TS series and similar pneumatic or manual dispensing systems.
Where This Dispensing Needle Is Used
The 45 degree bend shows up most in electronics assembly, potting and encapsulation, and general industrial bonding where the dispense point sits below or behind the syringe body. Operators reach for it for underfill work around connectors, conformal coating touch-up, gasket and seal dabbing into a recessed channel, and small bead adhesive lines on angled or stacked assemblies. Because the cannula is rigid stainless steel rather than flexible tubing, the bend holds its geometry through repeated dispensing cycles, so the tip lands in the same spot shot after shot.
How This Dispensing Needle Holds Up
The stainless steel cannula is burr-free and electropolished inside and out, which keeps fluid flow consistent and reduces the chance of a fiber-filled or filled adhesive snagging mid-dispense. The double helix polypropylene hub locks onto a Luer fitting without cross-threading and resists cracking under normal dispensing pressure. The needle is rated for pneumatic dispensers running up to 100 psi, and the hub material is silicone-free and chloride-free, which matters on electronics and optical assemblies where either contaminant can cause long-term reliability problems.

Order by gauge and bend angle to match the syringe barrel and dispensing tip already running on the line, since mixing needle brands mid-job can change flow rate even at the same nominal gauge.
