TensorGrip P415 Water Based Pressure Sensitive Adhesive, 22L

Description

TensorGrip P415 is a high-solids, acrylic-based water based pressure sensitive adhesive that sprays from a 22L canister and lays down a fine snowflake pattern for even coverage. It is non-flammable and VOC-free, so it suits shops that need to keep solvent emissions down. The pressure sensitive bond stays repositionable until parts are pressed together, then holds firm.

Where TensorGrip P415 is used

Fabricators bond foam, fabric, films, foils, and lightweight panels where a clean, low-odor adhesive matters. The repositionable tack lets an operator align a part, lift it, and reset before committing, which cuts scrap on large or awkward laminations. High transfer efficiency means more of the adhesive lands on the work and less drifts as overspray, so coverage runs farther per canister than standard pressure sensitive sprays.

How TensorGrip P415 performs

It dries fast, builds high tack, and keeps a long open time so large surfaces can be coated before assembly. The cured bond resists heat above 300 F, which holds up in enclosures and assemblies that warm in service. Spray an even coat on one or both faces, let it flash to tack, then mate and apply firm pressure across the joint to seat the bond. Clean the substrates of dust and oil before coating so the tack grips evenly across the whole surface. Holding a steady spray distance keeps the snowflake pattern uniform and avoids heavy wet spots that slow the flash and waste material.
