Once heat-cured, it delivers up to a 30 percent improvement over conventional trowelable wear compounds and continues to withstand continuous service temperatures to 450 degrees F. It also resists a broad range of acids, bases, salts, and solvents, so it holds up in process environments that would degrade a standard epoxy patch.

Where this compound gets used

Wear Guard High Temp is intended for repair and protection work on scrubbers, ash handling systems, pipe elbows, screens, and chutes, and for recontouring chippers, bins, hoppers, bunkers, separators, and diester tables. It also protects exhausters, launderers, housing fans, crushers, and breakers, where particulate abrasion combines with elevated operating heat to wear down bare metal quickly.
